The 7-700-7 Livingstone Communities Credit Cooperative is duly registered with the Cooperative Development Authority-CAR last January 15 2015 under Registration No. 9520-1015000000025965 and CIN 15201525965. To date there are about 170 members of the Cooperative.
Membership in the 7-700-7 Livingstone Communities Credit Cooperative is associational, that is, only members of the Seven Seven Hundred Seven Association of Baguio, Inc. [the Association] can become members of the Cooperative. For now, we started with the usual credit services but have intentions of becoming a multipurpose cooperative to include, among others, trading of products of members and livelihood groups which have partnered with the Cooperative.
The Cooperative aims to help improve the quality of life of its members by providing goods and services to enable members to attain increased income, savings, investments, productivity, purchasing power and promote among themselves equitable distribution of net surplus through maximum utilization of economies of scale, cost-sharing and risk sharing and to propagate cooperative practices and new ideas in business and management, among others.
The 7-700-7 Livingstone Communities Credit Cooperative has three million worth of authorized capital stock, 25% of which has been subscribed and its paid up capital is pegged at Php594,639.30 as of December 31 2015.
